Chinos

This is 25yr old Sayaka Kishi photographed in London Fields last weekend as the most fashionable part of London starts to get into the Spring season. Sayaka wears a kelly green pair of chinos from Zara teamed with +J Uniqlo Shirt under a Margaret Howell sweater and some grey Carvela desert boots. As part of the work I do for Grazia UK's Style Hunter you can leave your most intelligent comments either on the "Grazia page" or below and your comments might be used when it goes into print!

Remember, we're looking for good constructive comments about why you think the outfit works!

  1. the proportions are great. the sweater is just fitted enough to eliminate the potential of overall sloppiness (key to the success of this is the exposure of the shirtsleeves, highlighting the slim cut of the shirt underneath). i love the dusty boots and the crisp cuff on the pants. the subtle pop of color on her neutral bracelet and the contrast of her light barrette against her dark hair, the neutral tote with the navy base (a very pared down take on the color-blocking trend), complete with her sunglasses, pulls the look together for a chic yet unassuming ensemble perfect for darting through the crowds to get the best street style shots possible (hence the camera, i assume).

  2. The relaxed fit of the trousers puts a wonderfully quirky spin on the buttoned-up look of the sweater/shirt combo. The colors work really well together, and the look as a whole is perfectly transitional from cool to warm weather :)

  3. The way that Sayaka incorporates that shocking punch of kelly green with basic neutrals is what makes the ensemble so interesting. I also appreciate how she contrasts the tailored silhouettes of the blouse and sweater with the looser, paperbag fit of the chinos. The result is a stunning but casual outfit that is entirely street-appropriate.

  4. the eyes need some rest.
if everything is fighting with each other plus the heavy make up on your lips and eye,u'll end up frowning which literally means we're not pleased with it.

SHE just did justice by letting the green pops out with pale make-up and nude tops.
